At Sea
Not a lot to talk about today - once again was a lazy day. Too breezy & cold to go outside and even the Tex-Mex special lunch was moved indoors. Joy & I played bingo (practising for the nursing home) then had lunch. As it was a Mexican theme we had a margarita which ensured an afternoon nap! So, curled up on the couch I was awakened by an announcement saying there was a small maintenance problem and all power would be turned off for half an hour while they fixed it. Didn’t need power for me to continue sleeping so it wasn’t a problem but I woke at 5.40 pm to go to another cocktail party at 6!! Made it, just involves a quick change of clothes and a bit of lippy really LOL!!
Had a fun dinner with the Queenslanders, a couple from the Gold Coast and another from just north of Wellington Point. Then went to the show - a fabulous trumpeter, a gorgeous lady in a slinky shimmering dress who looked about 26. Most unusual to see a lady playing trumpet.
We’ll be in Nuuk, Greenland in the morning. Nuuk, Greenland's capital, is a small city on the country's southwest coast. Its large fjord system is known for waterfalls, humpback whales and icebergs. People are a bit dubious about the small town/City of Nuuk but I think they’ll be pleasantly surprised as it reads well on the internet. We were in a different town in Greenland several years ago and it was very basic but most interesting so am looking forward to a good day.
Go Pies!!
